ECO HUB BY THE ECO CLUB

As we start off the new cycle of CCAs the Tenby Eco-club is off to a speedy start with an "eco army" of over 20 students! Our plans for the innovative community garden on campus are flourishing and our efforts to promote climate justice and sustainable living for the future are coming along well!

Year 1 Grows Beans!

Year 1 started off the community garden this past week with a contribution of green bean plants! The students grew the plants as a part of the exit project for science class. Thank you Year 1 for the yummy contribution!

Community Garden Donations!

Love is in the air this Valentine's Day! The amazingly generous community of Penang gardeners and plant lovers has donated an entire jungle worth of cuttings, seeds, and plants to the Tenby Eco club for cultivation in our new community garden! Today the eco club begins cultivating the plants for permanent residency in our own on-campus garden!

Breaking Ground of the Eco Garden!

Well done to all members of the eco club for breaking ground on the eco-garden today! So many seedlings, seeds and cuttings were planted. We can't wait to see them grow!

The Eco Garden is Growing!

The first harvest from the eco garden was done yesterday. They have also got some pet crickets to experiment with alternative food sources and view bug life cycles. Well done members!
